Lyme diagnosis

Misdiagnosis with other diseases is very common. Proper examination is enormously difficult. In academic medicine there are not reliable instruments for analysis yet. Wandering pain, appearing and disappearing in different parts of the body does not help doctors. But natural medicine have still a lot to offer.

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that is spread to humans by infected tick or other insect which (often but not always) leaves characteristic circular rash around the bite. Other instant symptoms incl. fever, headache, fatigue. If diagnosed immediately it`s not a trouble. If detected much later a person may develop long-lasting symptoms and in the most cases they have no memory of a bite.

Is it depression or something else?

Important: Many Lyme disease symptoms are similar to depression. Right diagnosis is a key. More details on YouTube channel: `Lyme in London`.

Two types of Lyme

1. New Lyme infection: Found immediately after being bitten by an insect. Treated with antibiotics by the NHS doctors with success.

2. Old Lyme infection: Late diagnosed sometimes after years since bite. Old Lyme is much more complicated issue because it turns from one disease into a several health problems. The old Lyme is not a one illness, this is a state the body is in. Old Lyme is mostly accompanied by co-infections such as Epstein Barr virus, Babesia, Bartonella, Chlamydia, Toxoplasmosis, Yersinia and others. Conventional medicine is fine for a new Lyme but powerless with an old one. Natural medicine has a lot of success with old Lyme.
